Tesla broke ground last year on a new Megafactory in Lathrop, California. As the name implies the facility will produce Megapacks, Tesla's utility scale energy storage system. With the help of the Lathrop Megafactory, Tesla is targeting to increase their annual Megapack production capacity to a massive 50 GWh by the end of next year. According to a source, almost half of that capacity will be available this year, 20.73 GWh by the end of 2022. Tesla has started deploying their latest software update, 2021.44.30.5, to owners with Full Self Driving (FSD) Beta. The update was first detected just after 9:00am, January 7th. According to the release notes, the update has reset the Forced Autopilot Disengagements counter to zero. The limit has also been increased from 3 to 5, giving F.S.D. Beta drivers some extra breathing room before being kicked out of the program for improper usage.
